Blockchain specialists from all over the world met in Dubai for the World Blockchain Summit, that has just finished. Consulcesi Tech, thanks to its great expertise and its many projects in the sector, was among the main characters of the important event. President Massimo Tortorella had therefore the chance of showing them to the most important experts of the Blockchain sector, catching much attention.

«The United Arab Emirates are ready to take up the Blockchain challenge as a technological boundary able to improve the services to the citizens by making them safer, more transparent, efficient and customized» said Massimo Tortorella. The choice of Dubai is not random: it represents an excellence of this new digital paradigm. In fact, it launched the Dubai 2020 programme, that aims at being the first example of urban integrated regulation, in order to create a real “smart city” where all the essential services to the citizens will be managed by the Blockchain.

«We had the chance of meeting Mr Ramadan AlBlooshi, CEO of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority, representing over 40.000 health professionals. He is really interested in all the future developments that Blockchain technology will have, especially in the healthcare sector – said Tortorella -. We set up a meeting with the representatives of the exchange platform Kraken, a world’s leading platform by volume of exchanges. We found out that there is a general interest in the MBA we are organising with the Link Campus University and in our investment fund “ConsulCoin Cryptocurrency Fund” based on cryptocurrencies and Blockchain that, for the first time in Europe, is regulated».

Regulation of this sector is actually one of the hot topics of the moment: «Albanian PM Edi Rama’s intention of regulating the fintech sector in his country is pretty interesting. All this should warn the EU: it mustn’t stay still while the rest of the world is steaming ahead», Tortorella concluded.
